Forever Divas - 2019
The Baton Rouge Chorus is blessed to have three members who have been active for 30+ years. Jan Daly, Bette Theis, and Gloria Jones haven't just accumulated time on the risers each of them has contributed to the chorus' well-being as Team Members, Committee Chairs and beyond the chorus to the Regional level.

Wall of Fame 2017
Bette is a hugger. Whether she is meeting you for the first time or has seen you several times in the week, she will, in her words, "hug your neck".
Bette joined Sweet Adelines in 1975 and immediately became involved in chorus administration. She went on to be active at the Regional level serving on the Regional board and then Regional team for a number of years. While not currently a member of the chorus administrative team, she remains a loyal chorus member, volunteering for jobs at show and competition times. She is a member of Chopsticks, a daytime group of twelve, who are able to accept requests for daytime entertainment such as luncheons and meetings.
Definitely a "people person", Bette is always very encouraging toward new members as well as established ones. She frequently contacts those who have missed a few rehearsals to see how they are doing. She seldom misses a rehearsal herself.
